Puffin Poo

This North Atlantic delicacy was collected - at great risk to life and limb - bu the menfolk of Shetland for centuries. Abseiling down perilously sheer cliffs, the morsels left by the puffins were carefully scraped from the cliff-face, and secreted in small sealskin pouches around their necks. On the gentler banks, the Shetland Sheepdog, bred specifically for the task with it's long, sensitive nose, would sniff out the Puffins' burrow, usually to be found in abandonded rabbit-holes, and indicate her precious find to her master. As valued as the Truffle Pig to the French, the Shetland Sheepdog was highly prized to the Shetland Poo collector. Wind-dried and crisp on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside, with a distinct and unique flavour, Puffin Poo was the sweetmeat of only the very wealthy. Many a man sacrificed his life to fill the bonbon dish of a wealthy Victorian Industrialist... OK, so we're just kidding... Puffin Poo is made to our own original recipe, from finest white Belgian Chocolate - a crisp outer shell, hand-rolled in coconut, with a gently yieding marshmallow centre.
